Why is it important to market myself? How can I build my brand online?
First, I have to be able to market myself effectively so that people may want to hire me. There are many ways to do that, including a good resume or a good presence online. To market myself in the most simplest terms is simply to know how to sell myself so that people will want me. This might include having good references and past job experiences on your resume so that employers can see that you're qualified for the job, or it could be building up a social presence where people find you trustworthy. By building your brand online, you are able to show people what and how you think. Similar to how a college entrance essay is meant to show who you are as a person is a single essay, you try to show yourself how you want online. Properly building up your brand online, though, can take a lot of time. You have to build up a reputation and an audience that follow you.
